Broadway's 'Anastasia' Musical Will Close in March

The Broadway musical Anastasia will be closing this spring after two years.

The musical is based on the animated film of the same name and starred Christy Altomare in the title role. She remains as the star of the show and Cody Simpson is currently her leading man!

Anastasia will close on March 31, 2019 following 808 regular and 34 preview performances at the Broadhurst Theatre. The show will continue to play around the world on the US National Tour and in several international productions.

“Generations from now, people will continue to perform our beautiful musical about a strong young woman and its themes of Home, Love and Family,” said producer Tom Kirdahy. “We couldn’t be more proud.”
