ABC Cancels Shondaland Series 'For the People'

The show For the People has been canceled by ABC after two seasons.

The show was produced by Shonda Rhimes‘ Shondaland and starred Britt Robertson and Jasmin Savoy Brown as public defenders.

There are three Shondaland shows left on ABC now: Grey’s Anatomy, spinoff series Station 19, and How to Get Away with Murder.

Shonda recently signed a multi-year production deal with Netflix, leaving ABC Studios after a long tenure. Any new show she creates will go to the streaming service while the other three will remain on ABC.
