Garth Brooks & Blake Shelton: 'Dive Bar' - Listen to a Snippet!

Garth Brooks and Blake Shelton have teamed up for a new duet called “Dive Bar!”

The country singers, ages 57 and 43, respectively, shared the song with fans on Blake‘s birthday, Tuesday (June 18).

“Dive Bar,” which will be included on Garth‘s upcoming album Fun, is currently only available on country radio.

“I thought, ‘I’m feeling something here that’s drawing me right into this television,’” Garth told Billboard about Blake‘s performance at the Academy of Country Music Awards this year. “So I just reached out for him. He was so sweet on the phone. The last thing I said was, ‘Hey, man, I don’t want to put you on the spot, but we got a song that might be a pretty cool duet.’”

“I want to go on record saying I did not think it would sound like this,” Garth added. “I didn’t know what I was expecting, but I’ve never heard him sing like that before…we recorded together and it was fun to watch him. My biggest shock in all of this is I think I know my voice and I think I know his, but there were several times I looked over at Matt, the engineer, when we were mixing it going, ‘Is that him or me?’”

“Thank you to everyone for the happy birthday wishes today!” Blake tweeted. “And thank you @garthbrooks for the gift of a dream collaboration!!!” Garth replied, “Thanks for making this feel like my birthday!!! I love you pal, g.”

“Dive Bar” will be available on Amazon Music starting on Amazon Prime Day – the official date has not yet been announced. Listen to a snippet below!

Garth Brooks and Blake Shelton will also debut the song at Garth‘s tour stop in Boise, Idaho, tomorrow.
