The Way Joey Chestnut Prepares for Hot Dog Eating Contest Needs to Be Seen (Video)
Joey Chestnut is going to be competing in his 12th Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest on Thursday (July 4), and the way he prepares for the competition is a sight to see.
ESPN posted a clip from their documentary, “The Good, the Bad, the Hungry,” showing how Joey, 35, trains to eat dozens and dozens of hot dogs for the contest.
Last year, Joey came in first after eating a record 74 hot dogs in 10 minutes. The year before, he won by eating 72 hotdogs. He has won the title 11 times.
