The upcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid might have just found its King Triton!

Javier Bardem is in talks for the role of Ariel’s father, King Triton, THR reported on Wednesday (July 17).

As previously announced, Halle Bailey will playing the role of Ariel, the daughter of Triton. Harry Styles is in talks to play Ariel’s love interest, Prince Eric. Melissa McCarthy is rumored to play Ursula.
