‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ Debuts New Footage at D23
Some lucky fans are getting a sneak peek at Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker!
During Disney’s D23 Expo, new footage from the upcoming film was released by Lucasfilm as part of an introductory montage.
According to /Films, fans could see footage of Poe Dameron repelling down from a ship in a bustling space dock and Rey standing in the desert, similar to that seen in the trailer.
Finn is also seen in a building or spaceship while Rey says, “It’s too dangerous” in a voiceover. Later, he faces Rey who tells him, “I have to go alone.”
The clip also featured footage of an unmasked Kylo Ren in a sanitized-looking white room staring down at Darth Vader’s helmet, with a foggy vapor swirling around it.
More details and perhaps a new trailer are expected to emerge at the expo this weekend.
