Eva Longoria to Direct 'Flamin' Hot' Cheetos Creator Biopic Movie

Eva Longoria is taking on a fun new role!

The 44-year-old Desperate Housewives alum will direct a new movie called Flamin’ Hot, about Richard Montanez, who created the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos snack, Deadline reported on Monday (August 26).

According to the report, Eva “beat out multiple directors for the job after impressing…with her authentic approach to portraying the inspiring story of Richard and Judy Montanez.”

Here’s background on the story: “Richard was a janitor at Frito-Lay when he came up with the idea for Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. His creation, inspired by the flavors of his community, revitalized the company and disrupted the food industry, creating a pop culture phenomenon that continues today.”
