Brad Pitt Debuts New Tattoo at Venice Film Festival 2019

Brad Pitt is showing off some new ink.

The 55-year-old Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor sported a new tattoo on his inner bicep on Tuesday (August 28) while arriving for the 2019 Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy.

Brad was seen waving in a tee and newsboy cap, showing off the seemingly new tat, which appears to be a man’s silhouette standing over his shadow.

The design is next to a quote from a poem by Rumi, reading “There exists a field, beyond all notions of right and wrong. I will meet you there,” which he got with Angelina Jolie in honor of their 2014 wedding.

It’s not confirmed what the new tattoo means, although there is fan speculation that it could be a reference to The Curious Case of Benjamin Button or Meet Joe Black.

He’s previously gotten initials of each family member, Angelina Jolie-designed lines and the word “Invictus” tattooed to his body, among others.
