British Child Star Mya-Lecia Naylor’s Cause of Death Released

Mya-Lecia Naylor, who passed away back in April at the young age of 16, has an official cause of death that has just been released.

According to a report by The Telegraph, the 16-year-old died by hanging, however, the report by the coroner says she “did not intend to end her own life and that her death was by misadventure.”

Her father said in a statement, “I genuinely believe she did not mean to do it … She clearly had plans for the future.”

On April 7, Mya-Lecia was found hanging and was in cardiac arrest. She died 90 minutes later at the hospital in London.

Mya-Lecia starred in shows for the CBBC Millie Inbetween and Almost Never, and also appeared in the film Cloud Atlas.
