Natalie Portman Addresses the Diaper Controversy in 'Lucy in the Sky'

Natalie Portman steps out for an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing on Friday (September 27).

The Oscar-winning actress opened up about her upcoming movie Lucy in the Sky and the true story that inspired the film. The real-life version involved a diaper and there has been a little controversy surrounding the film after people found out the movie omits this part of the story.

“The original story was that this woman drove across country to confront, or kidnap depending on the version, her boyfriend and his new girlfriend. And she wore a diaper so that she didn’t have to stop on the way. And we didn’t do that in the movie and everyone’s like, ‘Where’s the diaper?!’ Everyone is really upset to not see me in a diaper. I don’t know what that’s about?!” Natalie said.

Ellen suggested to Natalie that she just say she was wearing one, but you can’t see it.

Natalie then joked that she was wearing a diaper during the interview!
