Prince Harry's Open Letter Gets Response from The Mail on Sunday

Prince Harry announced today that he and wife Meghan Markle have filed a lawsuit against a British tabloid and now that outlet has responded with a statement.

Harry wrote an open letter in which he said that he’s suing over misuse of private information, infringement of copyright and breach of the Data Protection Act 2018.

The lawsuit was filed in response to the tabloid publishing a private letter that Meghan wrote to her estranged father.

The Mail on Sunday released this statement in response: “The Mail on Sunday stands by the story it published and will be defending this case vigorously. Specifically, we categorically deny that the Duchess’s letter was edited in any way that changed its meaning.”
