Jennifer Lawrence Marries Cooke Maroney in Star-Studded Wedding in Rhode Island!

Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney are officially married!

The 29-year-old Oscar winner married the 34-year-old art gallery director on Saturday evening (October 19) in a star-studded ceremony at the Belcourt of Newport estate in Newport, Rhode Island, People confirms.

Jennifer reportedly wore a Dior dress for the ceremony.

Jennifer and Cooke got engaged back in February after they began dating in the spring of 2018. They were introduced by their mutual friend Laura Simpson, who famously accompanied Jen to the Oscars in 2014.

“I definitely wasn’t at a place where I was like, ‘I’m ready to get married,’” Jen shared on Catt Sadler‘s NAKED With Catt Sandler podcast back in June. “I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. We wanted to commit fully. He’s my best friend so I want to legally bind him to me forever. And fortunately the paperwork exists for such a thing. It’s the greatest. You find your favorite person in the planet and you’re like you can’t leave. So I wanted to take that offer.”
