Tinashe Reveals She Cried When Her Record Label Made Her Change Her Album Cover

After claiming they “always low-key sabotaged” her “real art s–t,” Tinashe is continuing to get candid about her experience with her former record label, RCA Records.

The 26-year-old Songs For You singer revealed on Twitter on Friday (November 15) that she cried when she had to change her album artwork for her 2014 debut album, Aquarius.

“Funny story, the cover we know in love is not the one Tinashe wanted for Aquarius… The one SHE originally chose ended up being on the back,” a fan wrote on Twitter.

“I remember being in London sitting in the car crying cuz I had to change it,” Tinashe replied to the fan.

Her independent studio album, Songs for You, will be released on Friday (November 22).
