The sequel to the 2017 Jumanji reboot opened to an estimated $60.1 million in its first week at the box office, THR reported on Sunday morning (December 15).

The film, which co-stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart, experienced a 20% increase from Friday to Saturday, suggesting a “strong turnout among families.” The movie has earned an A- CinemaScore, and bested predictions of a $35-50 million opening.

The original film opened with a $36 million domestic debut in 2017.
