Starz Cancels 'Sweetbitter' Following Two Season on the Network
Sweetbitter has bitten the dust on Starz.
The network has not picked up the show for a third season, THR reports.
Based on the novel by Stephanie Danler, and starring Ella Purnell, the series centered on Tess, who learns just how crazy it is to work in a restaurant.
This follows the news that Ella had booked a role on Showtime’s Yellowjackets.
Her new show is a coming-of-age drama and tells the narrative of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the Ontario wilderness.
Sweetbitter aired its’ season two finale in August.
