Demi Lovato Celebrates 'Rebirth' with New Angel Tattoo

Demi Lovato is looking forward to the future with her new tattoo.

On Christmas Eve, celeb tattoo artist Alessandro Capozzi took to Instagram to show off the 27-years-old singer’s new ink – which is an angel being held up by three birds as her own wings fade away.

“For the incredible @ddlovato 💖 “Divine Feminine” ✨ Destruction Effect XVIII,” Alessandro wrote along with a few photos of Demi‘s tattoo.

He then went on to talk about the creative process behind the tattoo, and what the tattoo means to Demi.

“We created this piece together to represent a rebirth of the spirit. The dark wings represent the bad times, their fading away is how she moved forward,” Alessandro continued. “The light from within represents the inner strength necessary for the change and the doves, pulling her up, symbolize the reach of an higher state of consciousness. Congratulations on your inspiring journey Demi, honored to have represented this for you.”

Demi then commented on the photo, writing, “Thank you so much 🙌🏼 it’s incredible and you are so extremely talented 😊💕”

Demi‘s new tattoo comes just a few days after her split from boyfriend Austin Wilson.
