On different portrayals of the Joker and if Jared Leto will reprise the role in Birds of Prey: Variety says that Margot confirms “that Jared Leto’s incarnation of the character doesn’t appear, not even as a cameo.” She added that she thinks Joaquin Phoenix “did a phenomenal job…I feel like the ‘Joker’ film was much more grounded. Ours is different. It’s heightened.” Here’s what Jared Leto said about the cameo rumors!

On Harley Quinn: “Harley has this unpredictable nature that means she could react in any way to any situation, which as an actor is just a gift.”

On why she started a fake Twitter account to research her role in Bombshell: “Honestly, the most helpful bit of research I did is I started a fake Twitter account so that I could follow young Millenial conservative girls’ accounts and the things they say and their point of view on any issue. And that was really fascinating and it was really helpful to see their play-by-play, their opinions coming out and how they put them forward in the world.”
