First Democratic Presidential Debate of 2020 - See Which Candidates Are Debating & Where to Stream

The first debate between the Democratic presidential candidates of 2020 is airing tonight (January 14) at 9 p.m. ET.

The debate, the seventh overall in the 2020 election cycle, will be held at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

Six candidates will take the stage: former vice president Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Tom Steyer.

Moderators will include CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and Abby Phillip and The Des Moines Register‘s Brianne Pfannenstiel.

To watch, you can stream the debate on CNN’s homepage, at DesMoinesRegister.com and Democrats.org. The debate will also air on CNN, CNN en Español, CNN International and CNN Airport Network, as well as the iOS and Android CNN apps and CNNgo apps for Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, Chromecast and Android TV. It can also be heard on Westwood One Radio Network and CNN’s SiriusXM XChannels.

Candidates needed to poll at at least 5 percent in four national or early state polls in New Hampshire, Iowa, Nevada and South Carolina or receive 7 percent in two national or early state polls to be eligible.

Andrew Yang, Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, former Maryland Rep. John Delaney and Sen. Michael Bennet are not appearing in the debate.
