Donald Trump Responds to Senate Impeachment Trial Vote With Meme Implying He'll Be in Office Forever

Donald Trump is mocking his political enemies.

The 73-year-old President of the United States spoke out for the first time since being acquitted by the Senate in his impeachment trial on Wednesday (February 5).

The tweet features a video of Trump campaign signs going past 2020, including Trump 2024, Trump 2028 and Trump 2032, going all the way to “Trump 4eva,” implying that he will never leave office.

Trump was accused of abusing his power by pressuring Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden, and of obstructing Congress in an effort to cover it up. The Senate ultimately voted to acquit. He’s now the third president to be impeached, and the third to be acquitted.
