The film balances comedy with the horrors of WWII while giving some good laughs, and a few tears. It’s a cute story that’s definitely worth a pick up.

Also arriving this week is A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.

Starring Tom Hanks, the biopic film akes a look at the life of Fred Rogers through the eyes of a troubled and disgruntled journalist.

Based on the true life friendship between Fred Rogers and journalist Tom Junod, the feel-good movie takes on the cynical side of life as its confronted by the kindness love of America’s most beloved neighbor.

The film is also presented in 2160p resolution and a DTS:X soundtrack which really shines in this release. Extras include the usual audio commentaries, deleted scenes, and a blooper reel. Also included are featurettes of the making of the film, a deeper look into Tom Hanks becoming Fred Rogers, and the various puppets and miniatures featured in the film.

Overall the film is a sweet feel-good story and a solid pick up.
