Pete Buttigieg Tells Ellen His Thoughts on Rush Limbaugh's Controversial Comments

Presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg is speaking out with his reaction to conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh‘s controversial comments about him.

Pete sat down with Ellen DeGeneres for an interview, which is going to air on her Friday (February 21) show. You can watch a preview here!

“How is this going to look? Thirty-seven-year-old gay guy kissing his husband on stage next to Mr. Man, Donald Trump,” Rush said while criticizing the idea of a gay man becoming the president.

After letting out a laugh, Pete said, “Look, I guess he just has a different idea of what makes a man than I do. I’m not going to take a lecture on family values from the likes of Rush Limbaugh or anybody who supports Donald Trump. You know, when I was packing my bags for Afghanistan, Donald Trump was working on season seven of The Celebrity Apprentice.”

“And, since when is strength about the chest pounding of the loud mouth guy at the end of the bar. The strongest people I know are not the loudest people, they’re the ones who have the deepest sense of who they are, and what they value, and what they care about, and one of those people, one of the strongest people I know, is my husband… Brad Pitt,” he jokingly said while pointing to his husband Chasten in the audience.
