Simon Baker Premieres New Movie 'High Ground' at Berlin Film Festival 2020

Simon Baker flashes a handsome smirk as he arrives at the premiere of High Ground on Sunday evening (February 23) at the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin, Germany.

The 50-year-old Australian actor sported a black tux as he premiered his new movie during the 2020 Berlin International Film Festival.

Earlier that day, Simon looked stylish in a navy sweater and pink scarf as he attended the photo call for his new movie at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Here’s the movie’s synopsis: “Set in 1919, ‘High Ground’ tells the story of former WWI sniper Travis, who is now a policeman in the vast and remote landscape of Northern Australia. He loses control of an operation, resulting in the massacre of an indigenous tribe. While his superiors decide to bury the truth, the experience leaves a scar on Travis’ conscience, but he’s forced to return there 12 years later on a mission to track down an Aboriginal outlaw. Travis soon realizes the young man he’s chasing is the only known survivor of the massacre,” according to Variety.
