Miles Teller Underestimated How Much Work 'Top Gun: Maverick' Was Going To Be

The twosome dressed down for their trip, with Miles carrying Keleigh‘s bag at one point.

The day before, Miles was spotted at the gym getting in a workout.

Just recently, Miles opened up about his upcoming film, Top Gun: Maverick, and revealed that he definitely underestimated the movie.

“I think I underestimated the amount of work,” he confessed to L’Officiel magazine. “I didn’t realize how tough the flying was gonna be. There’s no green screen; we’re actually in the jets the whole time. We had three months of flight training and then we filmed for several months; it was about a year of production for me.”

Miles added, “It was really tough, but getting to work with Tom [Cruise] and the rest of the cast, kind of the next generation of pilots, it was wonderful and I have so much respect for the military.”

“Regardless of your political views, what those men and women are sacrificing is truly commendable and very honorable. I always enjoy it when I get to learn about somebody’s profession a little more.”
