Halsey Opens Up About Endometriosis & Having a Miscarriage

Halsey is speaking out about what it was like suffering a miscarriage.

The 25-year-old singer also got candid about being diagnosed with endometriosis – a disorder that causes tissue that normally lines the uterus to grow outside of it – in a new interview with The Guardian.

“It’s the most inadequate I’ve ever felt,” Halsey said about sharing the news with the public. “Here I am achieving this out-of-control life, and I can’t do the one thing I’m biologically put on this earth to do. Then I have to go onstage and be this sex symbol of femininity and empowerment? It is demoralizing.”

She added that being a mother one day looks “like something that’s gonna happen for me. That’s a miracle.”
