The Bachelor's Jasmine Nguyen & Alexa Caves Clarify Their Relationship After Fans Think They're Dating

Jasmine Nguyen‘s Instagram caption went viral after she shared a cute image of her and Alexa Caves on her feed.

The two Bachelor stars, who were on the most recent season with Peter Weber, met up for a lunch together and shared the image with their fans online.

In the now deleted caption and post, Jasmine wrote that “spoiler: we did find love after all” which prompted fans to think they were an item.

However, that’s not the case at all.

“I wasn’t going to address this because I thought it would just blow over, but I see now I’m getting a lot of questions and the story seems to be getting bigger. We don’t want to mislead anyone,” Alexa explained on her Instagram Stories. “Jay and I are not dating. She’s one of my best friends. I’m sorry to get your hopes up! That would be a great story.”

Jasmine added on her own that she “never meant to lead anyone onto anything. I was on [sic] Chicago to visit and celebrated a close friends birthday and like the photos, so I posted.”

“We love each other very much, have each others’ back, and I appreciate her in my life. That’s it. That’s all the caption was meant to be, with a fun Bachelor theme to it because of how we met.”

The Bachelor’s season finale will air on Monday, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
