Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom Will Welcome Their First Child This Summer: 'We're Excited'

Katy Perry has opened up a bit more about her pregnancy in an Instagram Live with fans.

The 35-year-old musician revealed tonight with her “Never Worn White” music video that she and fiance Orlando Bloom are pregnant with their first child together.

Katy confirmed in her live as the music video premiered that she’s having a summer baby.

“There’s a lot that’s happening this summer. Not only will I be giving birth, literally, and figuratively…to something you guys have been waiting for,” she shared.

Katy added a thank you to fans congratulating her on her pregnancy.

“I’m excited, we’re excited, and happy. It’s probably the longest secret I’ve ever had to keep,” she says. “I thought I would tell you guys in the best way through a piece of music.”

She also opened up about her upcoming album, saying that “Never Worn White” isn’t the lead single off the album.

“While it’s not the lead single, it’s a good way to start out,” Katy shared. “I had to reveal it [the pregnancy] at some point. It’s getting pretty obvious.”
