Naomi Campbell Defends Wearing A Hazmat Suit For Travelling in New Video

Last week, Naomi Campbell shocked some when she wore a full hazmat suit, mask and gloves to the airport for a flight back to New York City.

In her new YouTube video, the 49-year-old model explained her reasoning for wearing the full suit, with a chic Burberry cape, and revealed what other things she’s doing to boost her immune system amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“We have to do what we have to do. So today, you came to meet me. I’m in LA. I’m flying back home to New York. As this is a very sensitive time in the world, I’m not going to lie to you and say I’m not nervous to take this flight…I am,” she says.

Naomi also took some vitamins before boarding her flight including two Vitamin C packets and papaya concentrate.

“I think we must take every precaution that makes us protected and comfortable,” Naomi added. “I’m definitely going to be keeping traveling to a minimum.”

Rapper Azealia Banks commented on Naomi‘s look on Instagram later, writing, “OMG i hope that is not an airplace blanket and it’s your own. Those don’t get washing thoroughly.”

Naomi assured Azealia that it was her own and “now in airport garbage”.
