Larry David Says It's Hard to Believe Woody Allen 'Did Anything Wrong' After Reading His Book

Larry David doesn’t think Woody Allen is guilty of anything.

After the 84-year-old director’s memoir, Apropos of Nothing, was announced and then shelved amid criticism by its initial publisher before eventual publication, the 72-year-old Curb Your Enthusiasm actor, who starred in Woody‘s Whatever Works in 2009, spoke out in defense of Woody upon reading the book.

“Yeah, it’s pretty great, it’s a fantastic book, so funny. You feel like you’re in the room with him and yeah, it’s just a great book and it’s hard to walk away after reading that book thinking that this guy did anything wrong,” Larry said in a recent New York Times profile.

Woody has maintained his innocence amid allegations of molestation by daughter Dylan Farrow over the years. She and her brother Ronan spoke out about the book’s publication. Here’s what they said…
