Director James Gunn Says 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3' & 'The Suicide Squad' Won't Be Delayed
James Gunn says some highly anticipated films are still on the way!
The 53-year-old director of the upcoming third Guardians of the Galaxy movie and The Suicide Squad claims that neither film will be affected by delays like so many other movies amid the global health crisis.

“Right now there’s no reason for The Suicide Squad release date to move. We are on or ahead of schedule. We were extremely fortunate to wrap shooting and set up editing from our homes (due to a post production team and studio with foresight) before quarantine,” he revealed on Twitter on Sunday (April 12).
“Right now the plans with Vol. 3 are also exactly the same as they were before coronavirus,” he added of Guardians.
The Suicide Squad is still planned for August 6, 2021, and Vol 3. is also expected sometime that year.
