GMA's George Stephanopoulos Diagnosed with Coronavirus at 59, Describes His 2 Minor Symptoms

Good Morning America anchor George Stephanopoulos, 59, revealed he has tested positive for COVID-19 aka the novel Coronavirus.

The former White House Communications Director says he thought he would test negative as he has had nearly none of the classic symptoms.

“I’ve never had a fever, never had chills, never had a headache, never had a cough, never had shortness of breath,” George said. “I’m feeling great.”

“There was one night, several weeks ago, when I went to bed early with some lower back pain and I thought it was from a hard workout that day, and it cleared up the next morning,” he added. “Then several days after that I had one day when I had a diminished sense of smell, but that was it for my symptoms over the last several weeks.”

George‘s wife, Ali Wentworth, had Coronavirus and she’s feeling better. We hope the whole family feels 100% soon!
