Why Is 'Nobel' & 'Noble' Trending on Twitter Right Now? Because President Donald Trump Misspelled It

If you check out Twitter right now, you might see that both Nobel and Noble are trending right now, and President Donald Trump has something to do with it.

During a twitter rant on Sunday, April 26, the 45th President of the United States tweeted in anger about the media and reporters, and noted that many journalists had received “Noble Prizes for their work on Russia, Russia, Russia,” which referred to allegations that his campaign was colluded by the Russian government.

He went on to write that, “Lawsuits should be brought against all, including the Fake News Organizations, to rectify this terrible injustice. For all of the great lawyers out there, do we have any takers? When will the Noble Committee Act? Better be fast!”

While the tweet has since been deleted, it was screenshot by many, who went on to roast Trump about his comments.

More also suggested he was probably confused on what the Nobel prize was, switching it with the Pulitzer Prize, which awards journalists for their written words.

The Nobel Prize is given to honorees in recognition of academic, cultural, or scientific advances.
