Jeffree Star's 'Cremated' Palette Reveal Trends at No. 1 on YouTube Amid Controversy

Jeffree Star just launched his latest collection to some criticism – and he’s shot straight to the top of the YouTube charts.

The 34-year-old Jeffree Star Cosmetics mogul debuted his new Cremated palette, which was originally delayed due to the pandemic, on Saturday (May 16).

“HEY EVERYONE! Welcome back to my channel! How are ya?? Today I’m revealing the latest Jeffree Star Cosmetic collection and we are about to get a little spooky!! This collection was created in September 2019 and was slated for a Spring ’20 release! Now without further disruptions…introducing the brand new CREMATED eyeshadow palette and collection!!” he captioned the video, which is already No. 1 on YouTube’s Trending page.

The collection’s name was then slammed by some for being insensitive amid the pandemic.

However, the video has still managed to become massively popular.

“Waking up to the #Cremated reveal video at #1 trending!! 😭🤍 THANK YOU everyone for all the love and continuing to let me create gorgeous and weird products! Can’t wait for everyone to play with this in person,” he wrote on Sunday (May 17) on his Twitter.

He recently reacted to a viral TikTok of someone allegedly breaking into his home.
