Lindsay Lohan Was Supposed To Guest Star On Hulu’s ‘Ramy’ – Here’s Why It Didn’t Happen

There were plans for Lindsay Lohan to appear on the new season of Ramy, but it didn’t end up happening.

Ramy Youssef told Entertainment Weekly that the plans were nixed when she just stopped communicating with him.

“We had an idea that it wasn’t just her, but we were interested in this idea of people that you don’t really think are Muslim,” Ramy shared. “We actually cast Lindsay Lohan, because Lindsay had this whole thing about converting to Islam. And so we had cast Lindsay and I talked to her and she was down, and then, you know, like Lindsay does, we just kind of stopped hearing from her.”

He continued, laughing at the predicament, “I was trying to get ahold of her and she was on the call sheet, and I guess she couldn’t make it. I don’t know, I never heard from her.”

Ramy did add that the door is still open for her to guest star in season three though.

Ramy, the series, is set to return on Hulu on Friday.

Just recently, Lindsay shared some advice for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex about their move to Los Angeles.
