Glee's Melissa Benoist Has 'Liked' Many Tweets About the Lea Michele Allegations

Melissa Benoist is supporting her former Glee co-stars who are making allegations against Lea Michele.
The 31-year-old actress, who currently stars on The CW’s Supergirl, joined the cast of Glee in season four as Marley Rose and her first performance on the show was a duet of “New York State of Mind” with Lea.
While Melissa hasn’t spoken out with any statements of her own, she took to Twitter and pressed the like button on many tweets being made about Lea over the past day.
Samantha Ware, who appeared in the show’s final season, said that Lea made the experience a “living hell” for her. Co-stars like Alex Newell and Amber Riley both responded to the tweets using GIFs and they seemingly agreed with the comments being made.
After the allegations were made, Lea lost a partnership with a big brand that no longer wants to be associated with her.
(Melissa has also been very active during this time with speaking out about Black Lives Matter related causes. She has been sharing important resources, petitions, and she also wrote a lengthy open letter about the world she hopes to raise her child in.)
