Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Donates $3 Million to Colin Kaepernick's Legal Defense Fund

Twitter’s CEO is helping Colin Kaepernick‘s cause.

Jack Dorsey made a $3 million donation on Wednesday (June 3) to the 32-year-old former NFL quarterback’s Know Your Rights Camp, a fund he started to pay legal fees for protestors who get arrested while fighting for justice for George Floyd.

“$3mm to Colin @Kaepernick7’s @yourrightscamp to advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass-mobilization to elevate the next generation of change leaders,” the 43-year-old CEO wrote on Twitter.

Just a few days ago, Colin‘s Know Your Rights Camp launched their new fund called the Legal Defense Initiative, which is aimed at providing resources and assistance to protestors in Minneapolis and other cities that have participated in demonstrations.

Jack‘s donation to Colin‘s fund comes after he donated $1 billion to COVID-19 relief efforts.
