The Explicit Movie 'Love' Looked Different in Theaters Than on Netflix for This Reason!

The 2015 movie Love, directed by Gaspar Noe, has been climbing up the charts on Netflix this week, but those who saw it in theaters had a much different experience.

Did you know the movie was filmed in 3D?!

The movie premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2015 and The New York Times reported that people walked out of screenings due to “scenes of penetration, mutual masturbation and a penis ejaculating in 3-D toward the audience.”

The movie’s producer Vincent Maraval said, “It’s because of French state money that he was able to shoot it in 3-D.”

Karl Glusman, who is the male lead in the movie, opened up about what it was like filming the explicit sex scenes in the movie. He also spoke about that infamous ejaculation scene, which moviegoers saw in 3D.

People are crediting the success of THIS movie for the increase in popularity for Love.
