Alia Shawkat Finally Responds to Rumors She's Dating Brad Pitt

Alia Shawkat is speaking out for the first time about the rumors that she is dating Brad Pitt.

The 31-year-old actress was first spotted out with Brad, 56, while attending an art exhibit event back in November 2019 and then fans discovered that they have been out and about together several times in the past as well.

During the quarantine period back in April, Alia was spotted riding her bike away from Brad‘s gated community in Los Angeles.

“We’re not dating,” Alia told Vulture. “We’re just friends.”

Alia‘s friends were just as curious as the rest of us about what was going on. She said, “All my friends were like ‘What’s going on?’ and sending me photos. I just felt overwhelmed. It’s that feeling of being naked in school, like, Oh my God, everyone’s looking at me.”

“I’ve gotten press, but not like that,” she added.
