SAG Awards 2021 Is Latest Awards Show to Postpone Due To COVID-19

Coronavirus just caused another awards show to move out of its original date.

The 2021 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards (or SAG Awards as they’re commonly called) will no longer take place on January 24, 2021.

The new show will air on March 14, 2021, which is a full six weeks ahead of the 2021 Oscars. The Oscars will take place on April 25, 2021. The world is hoping that scientists can come up with a working vaccine, as large gatherings seem to cause Coronavirus hotspots.

The Coronavirus pandemic has caused so many events in Hollywood to be postponed, cancelled, or altered. Find out what has been greatly impacted by COVID-19 so far.
