'Drag Race' Winner Yvie Oddly Says RuPaul Never Made Eye Contact 'Unless She Smelled an Emmy Moment'

Yvie Oddly is putting RuPaul on blast.

The 26-year-old winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11 spoke out about her interactions with the 59-year-old host on Twitter on Friday (July 3).

Yvie jokingly poked fun at her season co-star, Brooke Lynn Hytes, for the premiere of Canada’s Drag Race on Thursday night (July 2), which she co-hosts with Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Stacey McKenzie.

“Congrats to all my northern neighbors on @canadasdragrace for an amazing premiere last night…except for @Bhytes1,” she teased, adding “she was waaaaay too relatable and sweet and stunning for my approval.”

When pressed further by fans about calling Brooke Lynn “sweet,” she said: “Maybe I’m just biased because our host never made eye contact unless she smelled an Emmy moment 🤷🏽‍♀️.”

The claim comes following a widely publicized interview from Season 7 contestant Pearl on Hey Qween in 2018, who said that RuPaul turned to her on set and said “nothing you say matters unless that camera is rolling.”

RuPaul recently removed herself from social media this week.
