Joey King's Hair in 'The Kissing Booth 2' Is Actually a Wig!

Joey King‘s new movie The Kissing Booth 2 is now NUMBER ONE on the Netflix and fans might be wondering if that’s actually her real hair in the movie.

While that might be a weird thing to think about, Joey‘s fans know that she shaved her head for her previous project – The Act.

Joey filmed The Kissing Booth 2 in South Africa during the summer of 2019 and she indeed wore a wig as her hair was still relatively short at the time. She took to Instagram on the film’s release day to share a video of her in the hair and makeup chair, which you can watch below.

“I feel so lucky to have been able to play this character again. The amount of pride and excitement I feel towards #TheKissingBooth2 is out of this world. Our sequel makes my heart smile and I can’t wait for you to see it. Thank you for being on this journey with us,” Joey wrote on Instagram.

Joey has long hair once again and she looked stunning while attending the virtual premiere on Friday (July 24).
