Jake Paul Addresses Partying Amid the Pandemic, Says He's Not 'Gonna Sit Around & Not Live My Life'

Jake Paul is going to continue partying amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

The 23-year-old YouTuber came under fire last month after he threw a massive party at his Calabasas, Calif. house, where there was no social distancing nor a mask in sight.

After news of his party started circulating, Calabasas Mayor Alicia Weintraub slammed Jake and the partygoers, saying she was “outraged” over the situation.

Now in a new interview, Jake is addressing the party, saying that he’s going to continue to “live my life.”

“I don’t know what to think of it, to be honest. I don’t think anyone really does,” Jake shared with Insider. “No one has answers, our leadership is failing us, and everyone kind of just doesn’t know what to do.”

He continued: “But I personally am not the type of person who’s gonna sit around and not live my life.”

A week later, Jake‘s ex Tana Mongeau attended another party filled with TikTok stars and YouTubers. She then issued an apology for partying during the pandemic, saying it was “careless and irresponsible.”
