Ellen DeGeneres Directly Responds to No Eye-Contact Rumor

Ellen DeGeneres hosted a Zoom call with her staff members on Monday (August 17) and a little bit of what went on during the meeting has been revealed.

One rumor Ellen reportedly addressed directly with her staff was the rumor that she doesn’t allow any staff member to make eye contact with her.

“I don’t know where it started,” Ellen said on the call (via Page Six). “Please talk to me. Look me in the eye.”

She allegedly called the rumor “insane,” adding, “It’s crazy, just not true, I don’t know how it started. [It’s] not who I am.”
