Chadwick Boseman Dead - 'Black Panther' Star Dies of Cancer at 43

Chadwick Boseman, the star of the Marvel movie Black Panther, has sadly passed away at the age of 43 after a battle with colon cancer.
The actor’s team confirmed the devastating news by sharing a statement on his social media pages.
“It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman,” the statement began.”Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV.”
“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy,” the statement continued.
“It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther. He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side. The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time,” the statement concluded.
Chadwick was last spotted stepping out back in May while taking his dog for a walk around the neighborhood.
Earlier this year, fans expressed concern after Chadwick appeared thin in a video he posted on social media and now it’s clear what was happening.
We’re sending our thoughts and condolences to all of Chadwick‘s loved ones during this difficult time.
