Barack Obama Pays Tribute to Chadwick Boseman, Looks Back at His Visit to the White House

Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, is paying tribute to the late actor Chadwick Boseman, who just lost his battle with colon cancer.

In a touching tribute on Twitter, Obama looked back at the time he met Chadwick during a visit to the White House.

Chadwick came to the White House to work with kids when he was playing Jackie Robinson. You could tell right away that he was blessed. To be young, gifted, and Black; to use that power to give them heroes to look up to; to do it all while in pain – what a use of his years,” Obama said.

Obama quote tweeted Chadwick‘s tweet from July 2016 in which he thanked the president for his service and his advice.
