Chadwick Boseman passed away this week following a four-year battle with colon cancer and it was confirmed that he married longtime love Taylor Simone Ledward before he passed away.

The couple didn’t make their first public appearance until January 2019, but they were first spotted together by paparazzi back in 2015 while at LAX Airport in Los Angeles.

Chadwick and Simone have remained very private with their relationship over the years, though it was rumored that they got engaged back in October 2019 after she was spotted wearing a gorgeous ring on that special finger. It’s unclear when the couple got married.

The last time that the couple was spotted together in public was when they sat in courtside seats at the NBA All-Star Game six months ago.

Simone is a singer who graduated with a degree in Music Industry Studies from California State Polytechnic University Pomona in 2014. Her professional music pages are no longer active on social media, though she has one YouTube video active that you can see below. Some reports say that she once auditioned to be on The X Factor.

One of the only times that Chadwick publicly commented on his relationship was when he thanked her at the NAACP Image Awards last year. He said, “Simone, you’re with me every day. I have to acknowledge you right now. Love you.”

Taylor doesn’t have a public Instagram page, though she does have a private one. The quote in the bio says, “to thine own self be true,” which is a quote from the play Hamlet.
