Halle Berry Reacts After Netflix Offers $20 Million to Buy Her Directorial Debut!

Halle Berry‘s upcoming movie Bruised is her directorial debut and it was just screened as a “work-in-progress” film at the Toronto Film Festival.

Variety has reported that Netflix is in talks to buy the movie for a massive $20 million and now Halle is reacting to the news!

“I am speechless. Thank you @netflix for believing in my vision, cannot wait for y’all to finally see #BruisedTheMovie. ♥️,” Halle tweeted with a link to the article.

Halle suffered some brutal injuries on set. She broke two ribs and it almost caused production to pause.

“I didn’t want to stop because I had prepared for so long,” Halle told Variety. “We had rehearsed; we were ready. So my mind, my director’s mind, was just — keep going. And I compartmentalized that, and I just kept going: ‘I’m not going to stop. I’ve come too far. I’m going to act as if this isn’t hurting. I’m going to will myself through it.’ And so we did.”

Halle recently got candid about fighting with director Bryan Singer on the set of X-Men.
