Cam Newton paid tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman and Black Panther after scoring a touchdown in the opening Sunday of the NFL football season on September 13.
The 31-year-old athlete made his debut as the starting quarterback for the New England Patriots and won the game 21-11 versus the Miami Dolphins.
In the second quarter of the game, Cam ran the football into the endzone for a touchdown.
As part of his touchdown celebration, Cam did the Wakanda Forever salute, seemingly in homage to the late Marvel star.
