'Stumptown' Starring Cobie Smulders Cancelled at ABC Due To Production Delays

ABC has made the difficult decision to cancel Stumptown, starring Cobie Smulders.

Deadline reports that the decision to ax the drama series came from production start delays which made it impossible for the show to be ready for a fall launch.

Stumptown had been renewed for a second season on ABC. Following the cancellation, ABC Signature studios have plans to shop it and find a new home for it.

Jake Johnson, Tantoo Cardinal, Cole Sibus, Adrian Martinez, Camryn Manheim and Michael Ealy also starred in the show, centering on Dex Parios – a strong, assertive and sharp-witted veteran with a complicated love life, gambling debt and a brother to take care of in Portland, Oregon.

Her military intelligence skills make her a great PI, but her unapologetic style puts her in the firing line of hardcore criminals and not quite in alliance with the police.

ABC cancelled this other freshmen series just yesterday…
