Sharon Osbourne Reveals How Her Granddaughter, But No Other Family Members, Got Coronavirus

Sharon Osbourne was supposed to be in the studio for the season premiere of The Talk on Monday (September 21), but she’s currently in quarantine.

The 67-year-old television personality explained that she’s quarantining for two weeks after finding out that her granddaughter tested positive for coronavirus, despite no other family members testing positive.

“I was meant to be in the studio, I was so looking forward to it. And then, unfortunately, one of my granddaughters [Minnie] has come down with Covid. She’s okay; she’s doing good. I don’t have it. Her daddy [Jack Osbourne] doesn’t have it. Her mommy doesn’t have it. Her sisters don’t,” Sharon said.

She then explained how Minnie contracted the virus.

Sharon continued, “She got it from somebody who works for my son. And it just goes to show you, she’s 3 years of age, that children can get Covid.”

Sharon hopes that she’ll get back in the studio soon. She said, “Oh my Lord, I want to see you guys so bad. I’ve got one more week left of quarantining and then I’m out. And as I say, I don’t have it. I keep testing negative, but, you know, you have to be safe.”

We hope that Minnie is back to 100% health soon!
