What Went Wrong for Demi Lovato & Max Ehrich? Sources Are Speaking Out About the Split

Demi Lovato has ended her engagement to Max Ehrich after only two months and now sources are speaking out about what went wrong for the couple.

The couple started dating back in March and then Max popped the question in June. Now, a source is telling E! News that Demi “feels he proposed to get attention.”

“She doesn’t trust him and thinks he’s sketchy,” that source added.

Another source said that things “started going downhill” for the couple while Max prepared to travel to Atlanta to film a new project. “They were arguing a lot and Demi didn’t want him to go without her,” the source said.

Amid some arguments between the couple, the source said that Demi realized “she didn’t know who Max truly was and didn’t think he had good intentions.” The source added, “There were many red flags she was ignoring and trying to turn a blind eye to.”

It is also being reported that Demi‘s family and close friends had been “warning” her about Max and they didn’t seem to be fans of him. They’ve all since unfollowed him on social media, including her mom Diana De La Garza.

Just a couple weeks ago, Demi was revealing what she wanted for her wedding dress.
